So you and your mates are trying to plan a stag weekend in Amsterdam that’s more than just getting zooted in a coffee shop? (Of course, that’s likely to be a major part of the weekend!) Look no further because we’ve created a list of five unique things you can do for a boys weekend in Amsterdam.

1. Start the Weekend Off with Stripper Oil Wrestling.

Is going to the strip club too generic for you? Have you always secretly wanted to see the groom embarrassed? Well this option is for you! You can book an oil wrestling session for your stag weekend and watch the groom get his ass kicked by oiled-up strippers. You can find booking options on stag do planning sites. While this is guaranteed to make for a hilarious night, remember to be respectful to all parties involved and discuss boundaries beforehand. 

2. Move the Strip Club to the Canals.

If you still want to do something more memorable than going to a strip club, but you’re scared that the groom is too pacifistic for oil wrestling, then you should book a stripper cruise! There are lots of options for booze cruises that include open bars and many include the option to hire a stripper as well. Again, as stated in the previous point, it’s essential to be respectful. 

3. Try a Space Cake (From the Right Amsterdam Coffee Shop).

I’ll be honest with you, being from the States, I was initially disappointed in the quality of weed in Amsterdam (edibles included). I smoked repeatedly and felt nothing, and space cakes (the local nickname for edibles) also had no effect. 

After a few days, a friend of mine took us to Paradox Coffeeshop to try one of their space cakes. I ate half of it thinking that I wouldn’t feel anything because after all, I felt nothing from whole space cakes from other coffee shops. Let’s just avoid the embarrassing details of that night and say I got my money’s worth. I’m sure there are plenty of other worthwhile coffee shops, but this one is my personal favorite. 

4. Establish Dominance with Archery Tag.

Who hasn’t wanted to shoot an arrow (padded, of course) at your mates? If this is you, l recommend buying tickets to an archery tag match through UP Events. Tickets are reasonably priced, and it’s such a unique experience. UP Events also offers many other outdoor group activities and packages. 

5. Make an Unforgettable Calendar to remember your Amsterdam Stag Party. 

You know what the groom needs to complete his new home with his bride-to-be? A (tastefully) nude calendar of him and his best men. While a psychedelic experience is worthwhile, it requires proper preparation and the right mindset to mitigate risks. It’s all a bit too heavy for a stag weekend. With this in mind, make it a weekend to remember!
